Dr. Patrick Blatchford
MD, FACS
Patrick Blatchford, MD, FACS, is board-certified and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Blatchford was born and raised in Arkansas City. He completed his undergraduate education at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, with a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, and molecular biology. He then graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. He trained and completed his surgical residency at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, during which he received various awards, including Outstanding Instructor of Medical Students, the Bruce Baird Award for research in trauma and critical care, and the Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching.
